Since, news about Emergency is starting to leak online, Neil wanted
those on his
mailing list to get a taste of the book first. So he basically took the typeset pages he read for his last edit of the book and put together a few chapters for them, so they could get an idea of what the book he's been working on in secret for the last three years is all about. We've also asked him to share it here as well.
Note that because this is the advance version, there's a design error in the "contract." This glitch will not appear in the final book. So think of this as the limited-edition rough draft.
