Double Feature of the Week: Troll 2 and Best Worst Movie

Here’s a great double feature to watch with friends or loved ones.

I was having a discussion recently and we determined that it may actually be harder to make a movie so bad that it’s great than a movie that’s just great on its own.

Troll 2 is one of those rare movies. It is so bad that not only does it have nothing to do with Troll 1, but there aren’t even any trolls in Troll 2. Nonetheless, you won’t be able to stop watching it. Here’s one of the most ridiculous lines in the film:

Now making this turkey even greater is the fact that Michael Paul Stephenson, the former child star who plays the young boy, Joshua, you saw above decided almost twenty years later to make a documentary about Troll 2 and his involvement in it. In the documentary, Best Worst Movie, Stephenson tracks down all the former actors involved, as well as the director and writer. And like all best worst movies, the director had no idea the movie was a joke. He still thinks it’s a masterpiece. My favorite scene is when someone asks him why there are no trolls in the movie, and he gets angry and calls the guy an idiot.

Note: Make sure you watch Troll 2 before watching the following documentary:
