Self Improvement Is Not A Destination

Richard ArthurAdvice

Self improvement is not a destination. If you view it like that, you’ll end up searching more than doing…

Looking more than living.

Can you relate?

You read more and more articles, books, and “life hacks”.

You go deeper into the rabbit hole – you need to master X before you can be Y.

You get addicted.

It’s numbing almost, this “self help” stuff.

You end up studying self improvement more than you actually end up improving.

That’s not what this is about.

At all.

Self improvement is about living life as your best self – no matter where you are in your journey.

It’s about enjoying this beautiful mysterious thing that is life – at the highest level possible.

And to do that – you need to take a step back, be present, celebrate your accomplishments, and focus on what the Japanese call Kaizen:

1% tiny improvements every day.
